Marketing Associate

The Marketing Associate will be responsible for supporting and managing marketing programs for our consumer ads online.

GeoRank online of business provides a platform for local small businesses to sell services on the Internet. The platform enables Georank and its marketing partners to assemble advisors into vertical categories that are marketed to consumers through various channels online and offline. Examples of categories include restaurants, auto dealers, hotels and apartments.

We seek a professional who is thorough and organized, skilled in both quantitative analysis and written/verbal communications, and juggles multiple projects and tasks. This person will have various roles in support of marketing efforts including the following:

Managing/supporting vertical (customers and community) and platform marketing programs including copywriting and editorial, retention marketing (e.g. email and direct mail), SEO, research, reporting and more.

Managing/supporting projects across internal and external teams including production (e.g. editorial and web site design/development) and product development.

Quantitative analysis and modeling of marketing programs and synthesizing results to make recommendations to senior staff to drive results.

Communicating program requirements and requests to partners, product management, marketing, and development teams.

Qualified candidates will have:

* 2+ years of relevant work experience.
* Undergraduate degree required
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels of an organization.
* Strong MS Office skills including Excel and Powerpoint
* An eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced team environment
* A solid understanding of Internet technology and experience with electronic commerce and direct marketing businesses.
